Dogma: Distributed Object Group Management Architecture
نویسندگان
چکیده
DOGMA is a new system for object-group-oriented parallel programming using Java. In addition to providing eeective object-group-oriented programming, DOGMA also provides powerful system connguration abilities such as dynamic code loading, dynamic system connguration, and web browser participation. Though relatively new, DOGMA has proven eeective at executing parallel applications on a several diierent platforms across Internet domains. Preliminary results indicate that DOGMA should be able to rival the speed natively coded parallel systems for applications in which Java just-in-time compilation is eeective.

DOGMA: Distributed Object Group Management Architecture y
The performance of Java just-in-time compilers currently approaches native C++, making Java a serious contender for supercomputing application development. This paper presents DOGMA{a new Java based system which enables parallel computing on heterogeneous computers. DOGMA supports parallel programming in both a traditional message passing form and a novel object-oriented approach. DOGMA provide...
متن کاملDesign and Implementation of An Object Group Model in Distributed Computing Environments
Recently, the distributed computing environments provide various open multimedia services through telecommunication information networking structure developing based on object-oriented concepts and distributed technology which can be applied new services with a few changes over the existing networks. The existing object model in distributed computing environment has the limitations of the indiv...
متن کاملAn Enterprise-Based Grid Resource Management System
As the Internet began its exponential growth into a global information environment, software was often unreliable, slow and had dif£culty in interoperating with other systems. Supercomputing node counts also continue to follow high growth trends. Supercomputer and grid resource management software must mature into a reliable computational platform in much the same way that web services matured ...
متن کاملObject Request Broker ( Orb
Distributed computing has made signiicant advances in the past few years as witnessed by the release of OSF's Distributed Computing Environment (DCE) and the adoption of a set of speciications for distributed object computing by the Object Management Group (OMG). In this report, we discuss OMG's work in distributed computing based on object technology. We attempt to provide a comprehensive cove...
متن کاملAn Architecture For Managing Distributed Systems
This paper describes an Architecture for managing Distributed Systems which has been jointly specified by two Esprit projects SYSMAN (7026) and IDSM (6311). The emphasis, in this architecture, is on the use of domains to group managed objects and partition the management structure to cope with very large scale inter-organisational distributed systems. Another key aspect of the architecture is a...
